Sliding Scale Services
Sliding Scale Funding: Our Sliding Scale Program is made possible through a combination of grants, donations, and contributions. The United Way Elgin Middlesex has been Daya’s primary supporter, accounting for anywhere between an incredible 75–95% of our Sliding Scale funding from year to year.
We are deeply thankful to every individual who donates to our cause. We understand that both your time and money are valuable, and we are honored by your choice to support accessible mental health care.
We are also grateful to the people who are able to contribute toward the cost of their sessions. Every dollar someone can give stretches our funding further—helping another person receive the therapy they might need, but could otherwise not afford.

2026 Sessions By Funding
Sessions By Funding
Sliding Scale: Our Sliding Scale Program is Daya’s commitment to making psychotherapy affordable and accessible for all. Funded primarily by the generosity of the United Way Elgin Middlesex, this program ensures no one is turned away due to financial limitations. People can contribute whatever is manageable for them—whether that is $0 or $100, or anything in between—because we believe mental health care should be a right and not just a privilege.
3rd Party Funding: Through partnerships and agreements with community organizations and agencies, 3rd Party Funding covers therapy costs for individuals connected to these agencies and organizations, many of whom would not be able to afford therapy otherwise. We are deeply grateful for these collaborations—they not only extend our ability to support more community members, but also help offset operational costs so that more of the grants, donations, and contributions can directly support our Sliding Scale Program.
Standard Rate: We are honored to have people choose to contribute to our Standard Rate Program. We recognize that those who can afford this rate could seek therapy anywhere—yet they choose Daya. These contributions help sustain our operations, keeping our lights on and doors open so we can continue to serve everyone, regardless of income.
